Since its my first time celebrating Raya here, dearest been saying all sorts of horror stories at the same time planning to ensure that our Raya wont be soo lonely la konon2 nye… However since the past Raya i think happening gak la our celebration since every week theres always open house to go too. Ye la berapa kerat sangatla minah and mat Malaysia kat sini. Of course having other Protons ppl as well as their family helps too.

First Raya we berkumpul at rumah Cik Mat, dearest project leader. Everyone brought something to banyakkan the makanan.. From JAsmine Walk we bawak daging Dindings (camtu ker spell? hentam je la) and kuah kacang which taste more like kacang paste.. hehhe.. We were quite busy on the 1st Raya as banyak jugak la open houses that we were invinted too, 2 from students from Msia and 1 more in Luton by Kak Ta whom we got to know from Faizal (hes school mate). The whole day we spend makan dan makan lagi.. seriously i think 1st Raya je segala lemak yg pecah masa bulan puasa dengan serta-merta datang balik.

As dearest only dapat 1 day off (2nd Raya) we pegi Great Yartmouth but the cool weather that day menybabkan me decide not to go to the beach, but we manage to play a game of 12hole adventure golf. Best jugak eventho awal2 cam kekok after few tries berjaya jua.. khehehe Tiger Woods would be soo proud.

Open House started with Cik Ramlis however as its im working i tak dapt pegi, dearest went on behalf of me. apparently i miss satay and nasi beriani… However on Sunday (the next day) we had our open house as dearest mom is here and she wanted to bagi the Proton kids makan2 as requested by their Malaysian boss. As she was around me duduk foresee asje takyah masak.. khehhehe. we had rendang, nasi impit, nasi tomato and ayam kurma. As we had our open house on Sunday sume datang dgn penuh kelaparan as penat baru balik carboot (me tak dpt pegi that day ) so our food nearly habis which is good for us. Takdela kena makan the same lauk 3 days in row pulak kan. It was a great day as the sun was shinning so the kids was happily playing outside.. tapiyg tak bestnya, we did our laudry that day habis baju dijadi bahan sampaikan seluar dalams pun jd bahan.. adoi malu betul. It was fun and easy goin for the adults as we can sit and chat inside while the kids have their fun outside…

The next week was Elisas and Hafizuls turn. Elisa made her famous mee udang, which tasted good.. there was also ayam percik, nasi impit and tiramisu. Tho it was cold, the kids still had their outdoor activity, running around outside which amazes me.. I mean sejuk gile ok and they boleh buat dunno ajer..

The next week (10/10/09)was the grand open house as kononnya the PROTONs worker wanted to have an official open house for the Lotus people. Every one (wifey mostly) were asked to cook something. Our house Rendang daging other includes satay, roti jala, kuah kacang, meehoon sup and banyak lagila. Mmg tak kelaparan balik rumah malam tuh.. khehhhe

The next day Fara and Azman Abdullah had their open house. She serves us nasi ayam, sup daging to cicah french bread. Seriously sup cicah roti pun sedap gile when dah lama tak makan. As dearest momsy is leaving the next day i takdela bawk balik lauk.. but nyesal pulak sbb kalau tak mesti boleh buat chicken sandhwich..

Coming up the mmg final open house wuld be at Faisals and co punya rumah. According to Faisal hidang for the day would be sup ekor and some other tidbits… Hmm we’ll see… lepas ni dah takde
